This was one of the best appointments I’ve ever had in any field. Going to the gyno can also be a bit nerve racking and especially when you’re a young woman or it’s a male doctor. But everyone in that office is so sweet and kind. They all make you feel very comfortable the entire time. Dr.Shelnutt also sits down and has a full consultation with you before your exam which I had never experienced before. We discussed my history and concerns and he explained things to me in such an easy yet detailed way that previous doctors never had. He never once questioned my symptoms or dismissed my concerns. He even explained all my options which would be best, what they do, how they would work. My exam was also quick, comfortable, painless. No unnecessary prodding around and explained what he say. I will definitely continue any and all my gynecological needs at this office.

Wonderful experience from before I even visited, to after I left. I have anxiety and distrust surrounding health, and in medical facilities in general. The environment is somehow calming (especially with the scripture on the wall and the Christian music), and every person on the team is genuinely warm, caring and professional. My wait time was very minimal, which I appreciated since I drove from Atlanta. Dr.Shelnutt is incredible— he made me feel heard and comfortable throughout my entire visit. His demeanor is patient, kind and respectful, and I valued his knowledge, detailed explanations and advice.

My experience has been that Dr. Shelnutt is attentive to the situation and takes care and time to thoroughly explain what is happening along with treatment options. I’m completely confident in the care I’ve received from him. His staff is among the best I’ve ever dealt with. They are kind, efficient, and responsive. I highly recommend this practice.

During my first visit with Dr. Shelnutt, I explained my irregular periods, PMS, & infertility struggles. He seemed knowledgable & thorough in his explanation of what he thought the problem was, so I was confused when he encouraged me to keep seeing an OBGYN about my issues instead of personally providing a treatment plan. After multiple appointments with an OBGYN, I was back to square 1. I still had many questions & was hopeful that a second visit with Dr. Shelnutt would provide an actionable step forward. Instead of receiving direction or help, I was berated and belittled for scheduling another appt. with him when I had already met with an OBGYN. In the 10 min he spent in the room he was dismissive & patronizing. Even when I asked for recommendations of other doctors or fertility clinics, he brushed me off and left the room. I left with no next steps or direction, feeling confused and hurt. I wish I had been treated with more respect and understanding.

Best office around! Dr. Shelnutt is thorough and has a wonderful bedside manner. And his staff, chef’s kiss! These ladies will bring a smile to your face and you will leave better than when you came. Could not recommend enough.
